Beirut's workshop on Euro-Med Rules of Origin

A European- Mediterranean workshop on the Rules Of Origin called on Monday for applying a flexible and correct implementation of the Euro-Med Rule Of Origin system in order to facilitate the establishment of a free trade zone between the Euro- Med countries.
The workshop, concluding its activities in Beirut, said in a statement that it paved the way for deepening and enriching participant countries with new expertise in the field of rules of origin, and opened the doors for the three Mediterranean countries who signed the partnership Association with EU "Syria, Lebanon and Algeria" to tackle issues that were on the agenda of Brussels workshop.
