Minister of information's meeings in London

Syria's Minister of Information Mahdi Dakhlullah said Thursday that the Israeli occupation of the Arab lands is the basic obstacle that hinders the achievement of just and comprehensive peace in the region.

Dakhlullah, during a meeting with Secretary General of the British "Next Century Institute" William Maurice, stressed Syria's keenness on Iraq's unity, sovereignty, stability and territorial integrity.

Talks dealt also with the peace process in the region, Iraq, the situation in the occupied Palestinian lands in addition to issues that are related to Syria and Lebanon.

Minister Dakhlullah,who opened the Syrian Media Center in London on Wednesday, held several meetings with Arab and foreign journalists in London.

The British "Next Century Institute" is interested in solving international political conflicts, international relations and it includes senior diplomats and journalists.
