Syrian, Turkish families exchange Eid al-Adha holiday visits

Thousands of Syrian and Turkish relatives on Friday exchanged congratulations of Eid al-Adha holiday at the border towns of Bab al-Hawa and Kasab.
The families and relatives, accompanied by Governor of Antakya, Abdulkader Sari, were received by Edlib Governor. Saed Elia, Lattakia Governor. Zahed Hajj Moussa, and senior governorate officials.
Governor of Edlib delivered a speech in which he referred to the historical relations between Syria and Turkey, underlying importance of enhancing them in the interest of both countries.
Governor of Antakya, for his part, described as very strong the bilateral relations, stressing significance of activating them in all fields.
Meantime, Governor of Aleppo Osama Adi on Friday conferred with the Turkish State Minister for Foreign Trade Affairs Kursad Tuzmen on areas of bilateral cooperation, and means of enhancing friendship relations between the two neighboring countries.
During a meeting which was held in the Turkish Gazintep state, both sides discussed means of boosting trade relations between both countries and measures which facilitate visits of Turkish and Syrian relatives during the days of Eid al-Adha.
