Al-Jazeera: Gul on relations with Syria

Turkish Foreign Minster Abdullah Gul said Syria is part and parcel of the Middle East peace process. Gul, in an interview published overnight by al-Jazeera TV satellite channel, called on Israel to implement the international resolutions and to withdraw from the occupied Arab territories.
He added that Turkey is interested in the Middle East peace process, saying it is unacceptable that Israel says that it will withdraw from Gaza without implementing the Roadmap plan and UN relevant resolutions.
