Syrian- Lebanese cooperation to build natural reserves

Syrian and Lebanese environment officials discussed on Monday building the natural reserves mainly on the eastern and western spilling of Eastern Lebanese mountains.
"What is required is to revitalize this sector and return the normal life to it in addition to build joint natural reserves we are about to declare about them and do the needed studies on them," Environment Director General at the Environment and Local Administration Ministry Akram Khouri said. Khouri held talks with Lebanese Minister of Environment Wi'am Wahab over issues concerning environment in both states.
