Israel bombards Shebaa farms following an attack by Hizbullah

Fighters of the Lebanese Hizbullah party detonated one explosive in an Israeli military bulldozer in the occupied Shebaa farms.

Al-Manar TV of the party said that the Israeli ambulances hurried to the site of the attack, noting that no casualties resulted in the lines of the Israelis or the fighters of the party.

Israeli military sources confirmed that the attack had taken place and indicated that one of its units was exposed to missile bombardment by the Hizbullah fighters.

The attack was followed by an Israeli intensive bombardment on the areas surrounding the site of the explosion. News reports in Beirut said the Israeli forces bombarded by artillery and heavy machine guns the towns of Kafer Shouba, Kafer Hamam and Halta while the Israeli helicopters flew in the skies of the area.

The reports indicated that the Hizbullah attack took place in the same area where the party attacked an Israeli vehicle last week and provoked an Israeli reaction that resulted in killing three: One Israeli army officer, one Hizbullah fighters and a French officer working for UNIFIL.

The news reports also indicated that the Hizbulah party attack came one day after its secretary general Hussein Nasrullah threatened that the attack which took place last week will not be the last against the Israeli occupation forces.
