Continued killing in Iraq

Gunmen assassinated Abdul Karim Jasem al-Obeidi, the official for the election center in al-A'mel quarters to the west of Baghdad on Thursday evening.
A source at the Iraqi ministry of the interior said that the American forces killed on Thursday seven gunmen while trying to install a mortar artillery near a mosque in al-Azameyah quarters in Baghdad.
The American forces detained Sheikh Ahmad al- Jabouri the Imam of al-Khassan mosque in Baghdad and one member of the Muslim Scholars Commission.
To the north of the capital Baghdad, gunmen on Thursday assassinated one Iraqi policeman in Tikrit which will be subjected to a curfew for 12 hours daily.
In the oil rich Karkouk city, one oil pipelines was exposed to a missile attack on Thursday evening and this inflected great damages.
In Deyali governorate to the north east of Baghdad, five Iraqi civilians were killed and other 8 injured when a military tank collided with a bus in al-Miqdadeyah area.
In another development, gunmen killed three officials in the Kurdistani Democratic Party led by Masoud al-Barazani in Musil city to the north of Iraq on Thursday.
