Colombian speaker vows to raise problem of sequestered population in Algeria at international organizations

Visiting speaker of Colombia's house of representatives, Zulema Jattin Corrales, vowed on Tuesday to raise at international organizations the tragic living conditions of the Moroccans sequestered in the Tindouf camps, southern Algeria, by the Algeria-backed secessionist Polisario.
The Colombian official told elected officials and representatives of the civil society in the southern Moroccan city of Dakhla she will endeavor to contribute to lift the blockade and enable this population to go back to their country and families.
