Karami renews rejection of UNSC Resolution 1559

Lebanese Prime Minister Omar Karami on Wednesday renewed his country's rejection of the UN resolution 1559, saying that it is an intervention in Lebanese internal affairs as well as a violation of the UN Charter.
"Lebanon who respects the international resolutions refuses the items of this resolution.. the time of implementing it is a wrong time.. it is issued to break out an internal disturbance as well as it poses a threat to stability and security," He told Arab and foreign diplomatic figures accredited in Beirut in a meeting.
