Israeli promises and violations

Despite its promises to cooperate with the new Palestinian leadership in order to establish peace in the region, a special unit belonging for the Israeli occupation army assassinated in Toulkarem in the West Bank on Tuesday an active member in al-Aqsa martyrs groups of the Fatah movement.

These violations came after the call made by the Palestinian negotiations affairs minister Saeb Oreikat to Israel to stay away from "the policy of instructions, settlements, walls and unilateral steps." For its part and in a statement, the Islamic resistance movement ( Hamas) claimed responsibility for launching five mortars shelling against Ghoushe Katif settlements to the south of Gaza.

Earlier, one Israeli military source said that one mortar shelling fell in the surrounding of Sdeirout settlement to the south of Gaza and this resulted in damaging one of the houses.
