Fahmi: $20 b new investments for oil, petrochemicals projects

Egypt's Minister of Petroleum Sameh Fahmy said yesterday that the Ministry's plan is to implement new projects in the oil and petrochemicals sector at a total investments worth $20 billion throughout the coming 5 years including $ 16 billion from world companies.
The Minister made these remarks in the second Egyptian petrochemicals conference opened yesterday in Cairo with the Canadian ambassador, senior officials and oil experts attending.
