Ukraine decided to withdraw its forces from Iraq

Ukraine announced yesterday upon the killing of 8 of its soldiers in Iraq its determination to withdraw its unit working in this country during the coming months.
The President of Ukraine Leonade Kotchma who will hand over the authority to the elected President Victor Potshinko, called on the defense and foreign ministers during an emergency meeting on Monday to draw plans in order to withdraw his country forces from Iraq during the first half of this year. Potshinko had repeatedly announced he will bring back the Ukraine force to the "homeland," noting that he will make the question of withdrawal, his priority upon assuming the authority.
