Bashir praises Egypt's role in peace agreement

Sudanese President Omar Hassan al-Bashir praised the role played by Egypt in the Sudanese peace drive which ended in the signing of a final agreement yesterday. Addressing a ceremony on the occasion of signing the peace agreement, he also hailed the role played by Libya which presented a joint initiative with Egypt to settle the Sudanese problem.
Bashir considered the agreement a model that could be harnessed towards settling the Darfur problem.
