Egypt- China trade exchange hits $1.5 billon

Egypt in trading with China maintains its position as fifth among African States.
The mutual trade exchange reached US$ 1.437 billion last November, with an annual increase of 47.6 per cent.
Chinese exports to Egypt hit US$ 1.263 billion while its imports from Egypt reached US$ 174 million, an increase of 21.4 per cent, a report released by the Chinese General Customs Authority announced yesterday.
It's worth mentioning that South Africa-China trade exchange hits $ 5.381 billion from January to November 2004.
