Hussein Fadlallah and Syrian- Lebanese relations

Sheikh Mohammad Hussein Fadlallah said "The existing relation between Syria and Lebanon represents a state of organic connection and overlapping of joint interests and vital causes."
In Friday's Sermon, Fadlallah called for "cementing the Syrian-Lebanese relations in service of our big aims and destiny causes."
He noted that "the U.S. is practicing pressures on the world to end hostility to Jews at the same time it ignores all the daily massacres perpetrated by Israel against the Palestinian people."
" The Palestinian Intifada and resistance are a natural reaction against the Israeli occupation of the Arab territories." Fadlallah said pointing out that the US administration prevents any political negotiation with the Palestinians but on the condition to subdue to the Israeli dictations that aim at abortion the Intifada and destroying its infrastructure.
Meantime, Deputy Chairman of the Islamic Shiite Higher Council in Lebanon, Abdul Amir Qabalan warned against the Israeli schemes against the Palestinian people who lives a desperate life under the Israeli occupation.
