The Israeli occupation forces have announced withdrawal from the city and camp of Khan Younis to the south of Gaza, three days from their incursion there, that resulted in killing 15 Palestinians and injuring scores.
A military source in the Israeli army said that the occupation forces withdrew on Saturday evening from the city and the camp, and were redeployed in their surrounding and took new positions on heights overlooking the region in an attempt Israel says it aims at preventing the Palestine resistance from launching missiles and shelling at the nearby settlements.
Though Israel had admitted that Palestinian activists were able to launch five mortar shellings at military positions and nearby Israeli settlements to Khan Younis that resulted according to occupation forces in material losses only.
On the other hand, a spokesman for the occupation army stressed that four Israeli soldiers were slightly injured after one Qassam missile fell on Sunday on Sdeirout city in Negev desert to the south of Israel.
