Mubarak receives Bahraini Monarch

Egypt's President Hosni Mubarak Friday received Bahraini King Hamad bin Essa Al Khalifa, currently on a private visit to Egypt. They discussed means to enhance Arab joint action and preparations for the coming Arab summit in Algeria.
The meeting took up latest developments in Iraq and the Palestinian territories, including preparations for the coming Palestinian presidential elections and efforts exerted to push the Palestinians and Israelis to meet their obligations as stipulated by the Roadmap plan for establishing the independent Palestinian state.
