Mohammed Dirir: Ethiopia seeks Egyptian expertise in Petrolum, Miningdomains

Ethiopian Minister of Minesand Energy Resources Mohammed Dirir expressed Wednesday the keenness of his country to benefit from the Egyptian expertise in the petroleum and mining fields.
This came during his talks with Cooperation Minister Fayza Abul-Naga.
For her part, Abul-Naga said technical cooperation between Egypt and Ethiopia can be maintained in the domains of agriculture, irrigation, tourism, construction, contracting, communications and information technology (IT).
The two parties agreed to promote cooperation via exchanging visits by Egyptian and Ethiopian experts and technicians, especially in preparation for the coming joint ministerial committee meeting, due to be held in the first quarter of 2005.
