Jordanian Minister of Trade wants to develop relations with Syria

Jordan's Minister of Industry and Trade Ahmed al-Hindawi on Wednesday underlined the significance of the fraternal ties linking the two states Syria and Jordan in all domains.
In a statement to SANA reporter in Daraa Southern Syria, the Minister pointed out at the economic challenges facing the Arab region and noted in the same time at the success made by the Syrian-Jordanian Free-Zone Company that is playing a significant role in boosting trade ties between the two states.
Hindawi said the company's General Assembly meeting reviewed the most important activities executed by the company saying "we would work to put suggestions and notes that would develop the company's action into force."
For his part, Minister of Economy and Trade Amer Lutfi stressed in another statement the importance of the Syrian-Jordanian Free-Zone that attains attention of responsible circles in both states to upgrade its actions and investments.
He emphasized the need to work as to surmount obstacles confronting the company to reactivate its role and enlarge actions in addition to encouraging investments.
