Ferzli's interpretation of UN resolution 1559

Lebanese Minister of Information Eli Ferzli said Wednesday the aim of the UN Security Council resolution No. 1559 is to interfere in Lebanese internal affairs and to separate the Syrian peace track from the Lebanese one.
"The resolution inserts Lebanon in an internal dispute to turn it away from a basic plot to settle the Palestinian refugees in Lebanon," Minister Ferzli added in a speech during a celebration made by the Lebanese official Radio on the occasion of the New Year's Day.
He said that those who put the resolution had admitted that their purpose was to isolate Lebanon from Syria and to drag Lebanon to sign a peace treaty with Israel.
