Aleppo and Damascus cities are first on heritage reward list

The Syrian Aleppo city ranked first on the rewards list of the architectural heritage for its project of "Bab Qansreen." The reward was offered by the Award Panel of the Architectural Awards in its 8th session held in Qatar's al-Doha.
The Egyptian coastal city of Alexandria came in the second rank for its project "Sayyed Darwish Theatre." Syrian capital Damascus city ranked third for two restoration projects "Sheikh al-Ard" and "Dar al-Majd" which are considered as parts of the pioneering projects in the field of restoring the Damascene old houses.
Those rewards are offered by the Arab Cities Organization which annually organize such competitions.
