Al-Assad confers with Lebanese party leader

President Bashar al-Assad on Monday received at al-Rawda Palace Secretary General of the Lebanese Communist Party Khaled Hadada. Talks dealt with issues of common concerns to both Syria and Lebanon and the role of the parties to cement the national unity.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Secretary General of the party Sa'ad Allah Mazra'ani, Head of the National Council in the Party Morris Nahra and two members of the party political bureau Mahdi Khalil and Melhem Saliba.
