Palestine-Israel, Military, 12/27/2004
Two Palestinians from Martyr Ezz Eddine al-Qassam groups, the military wing of the Islamic resistance ( Hamas) movement, were killed to the south of al-Breij camp in the downtown of Gaza.
News reports in Gaza quoted eye witnesses as saying that the occupation forces fired yesterday 8 artillery shells against the Palestinian activists during their existence in the region.
Al-Qassam group confirmed the killing of two of its resistance men while they were in a "Jihad mission" but without indicating the nature of the mission. The Israeli army confirmed the accident.
News reports quoted Palestinian sources as saying that the two killed Palestinians are Muhammad Abu al-Rous and Muhammad Abu Jaber and were killed while trying to implant a bomb on the border strip with Egypt.
This came after one official at al-Aqsa group of the Fatah movement in Jenin was killed by the occupation army fire. The sources explained that Israel killed Thaer Abu Kamel ( 26 year old) by bullets before demolishing his house.
News reports also said that a seven year old child named Tasahim died after she was hit by the occupation fire, two months ago.
