Over 7.6 tons of Chira seized north-eastern Morocco

Customs services of Berkane seized on Thursday 7.69 tons of Chira (cannabis resin) in a station of citrus fruits processing in the commune of Slimania.
According to customs authorities, the drugs, worth 77 million Dhs (US $8.5 million), were transported in two vans with fake number plates heading for the processing station.
