Abul -Gheit: Arabism needed in Iraq to protect from sectarianism

As for reports on a plan to divide Iraq, he said there are fears that Iraq would be ruled by political religion, asserting that. Iraq's Arabism should be protected as it comprises the Shiites and the Sunnis, Jordan's Foreign Minister Ahmed Abul -Gheit said in Egypt.
"Iraq's Arabism will guarantee self- determination of minorities, he said, adding that no one wants to politicize religion in Iraq, we want an Arab Islamic Iraq," he emphasized.
