Bahraini FM: Mubarak did not ask Gulf States to set up relations with Israel

Bahraini Deputy Premier and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohamed Mubarak Bin Mubarak AL Khalifa has categorically denied that President Hosni Mubarak, during his recent tour, had asked Gulf States to establish relations with Israel.
At a press conference held in Manama yesterday at the end of the 25th Gulf summit, Sheikh Mohamed said President Mubarak is a leader of the biggest Arab state and he has always been working in defense of Arab causes and solidarity. The Egyptian leader is always urging the unity of Arab ranks, he pointed out.
