Qatari hostage in Mali released

The army in Mali said yesterday that it had succeeded in freeing one Qatari citizen and another from Pakistan, who were kidnapped by one armed group nine days before near the borders between Mali and Mauritania.
News reports quoted military sources in Mali that two of the kidnappers were killed and other five injured following a breaking in operation carried out by Mali army in Kidal district to the north of the country.
News reports said that the two freed men were not harmed and in a good health condition and are protected by the Mali army.
Worthy mentioning that the two men went to Mali to get the necessary licensing and to explore places where they can hunt Habari birds which live in Mali desert.
