Limited redeployment for the Syrian forces in Lebanon

The Lebanese army announced that the Syrian army carried out on Sunday a new limited redeployment operation in Lebanon and closed the Syrian intelligence centers in Beirut and north Lebanon.
A statement issued by the directorate of morale guidance in the Lebanese army said that this redeployment came at the directives of the Lebanese and Syrian Presidents and Syrian security groups were repositioned in each of Beirut's International airport, a security group in the southern suburb of Beirut and al-Batroun security group in other places.
According to the Lebanese army these measures were decided as a completion for works of the joint Syrian- Lebanese military committee and according to joint coordination pertaining to redeployment.
A Lebanese source indicated that the meetings between Lebanese and Syrian officials are still continuous, noting that members of the security groups who are to be redeployed were actually transported to the Bekaa. He indicated possible redeployment operations.
