Britain warns its citizens in Kuwait against attacks

Britain has called on its citizens in Kuwait to be cautious following American information on the possible attacks targeting western attacks there.
The British embassy dispatched messages to the British citizens by fax or the email to remind them of a continuous advice warning against what it described "a strong terrorist threat" against western targets in Kuwait.
The American embassy in Kuwait dispatched bulletins on its citizens on Wednesday saying that it has confidential information on what it described as extremists planning to attack unspecified objectives.
The Kuwaiti authorities tightened security measures around oil establishments and the western embassies in its country since December 6th, following the attack against the American consulate in Jeddah in Saudi Arabia which resulted in killing five non- American employees.
Some 4000 British are living in Kuwaiti in addition to 2500 Americans. Some 25,000 American soldiers are stationed in Kuwait. The coalition states taking part in the military coalition led by the US in Iraq are using the Kuwaiti territories as a launching base to Iraq.
