Kuwait-USA, Local, 12/20/2004
Two American soldiers were killed and other two injured when one Egyptian driver collided in his car two soldiers while changing the tire of a truck which was stationed on the road to the south of Kuwait.
One American military source denies the existence of indications to that the accident is deliberate, stressing that the driver left his car on the road side and surrendered himself to al-Ahmadi police center.
Kuwait, where 25,000 soldiers are deployed, has witnessed in the few past months attacks against American targets. Islamic groups opposing the American presence in Kuwait are blamed for the attacks.
The American embassy in Kuwait which is still so far a point for changing the American forces deployed in Iraq, warned in a message this week its citizens over the possibility of "terrorist groups carrying out attacks in the near future."
