Baz: Palestinian struggle should continue based on international law
Egypt-Palestine, Politics, 12/18/2004

Osama El-Baz, the Presidential Political Adviser, said that the Palestinians are a struggling people and they will not surrender to the oppression and violence practiced by the Israeli occupation forces against them.

The Palestinian struggle should continue and be based on the rules and origins of the international law, added El-Baz, noting that their popular strife should not be only an expression of anger and reaction to the Israeli practices as well as killings and atrocities.

The strong people are who adhere to international bases and rules to gain all support from outside especially because they are struggling for a just cause and legitimate rights.

On the sidelines of the eulogy ceremony of late President Yasser Arafat and Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, late president of the UAE in Cairo yesterday in the headquarter of the World Muslim Youth Association in Cairo, El-Baz said that the two late Arab leaders were a unique example to the Arab citizen's capability to struggle and courageous stances as well as endless giving to the Arab and Muslim Nation. They had a joint characteristic which is deep love towards Egypt and its people in addition to full connection of Egypt's role in boosting and supporting Arab and Islamic issues.
