Al-Qathafi: Libya contributed to Bush's re-elections

The Libyan leader Muammar al-Qathafi has considered Libya's giving up of nuclear weapons program had helped the American president George W. Bush to be elected at a rate of 50%.
In an interview with the Italian "Rai" TV, al-Qathafi said that the US agreed to reward Tripoli over giving up nuclear weapons program. He added "Thanks to Bush for giving up this program. We have known that by doing so, we contributed to his 50% gain in his election campaign."
