Rabat, Santo Domingo to boost bilateral relations

Visiting King Mohammed VI of Morocco and President Leonel Fernandez of the Dominican Republic have voiced resolve to boost bilateral relations at a meeting in Santo Domingo Wednesday evening.
Both leaders also decided to set up a joint Cooperation Commission with the aim to strengthen bilateral cooperation that "should serve as a model for the whole region of the Caribbean." To this effect, Morocco intends to play "the role of a bridge between the Caribbean and the Middle East in order to pave the way for a fruitful multiform cooperation for the people of the two regions."
