Security Council extends UNDOF mission in occupied Golan

The UN Security Council yesterday unanimously adopted Resolution 1578 whereby the mandate of the UN Disengagement Observation Force UNDOF in the occupied Golan was extended to another six month's period.
The Security Council reiterated following the adoption of the resolution its call for finding an overall settlement that cover all aspects of the Middle East problem.
