Syrian citizens in the occupied Golan on Tuesday staged a sit-in in protest against the decision of the annexation of Golan taken by Israeli occupation authorities on 14 Dec. 1981. In a statement, the protestors stressed rejection to the decision and its results. Go

A source at the Libyan central bank said yesterday that Tripoli withdrew its frozen assets in the USA. The Libyan TV said that the same source explained that the value of the frozen assets, in addition to interest achieved during the freezing period, reached one billion dollars. Go

The Libyan Leader Muammar al-Qathafi "received last night Seirge Chourok, chairman of the French company Alcatel, which is implementing the African Satellite that will provide telephone and internet services as well as television and radio channels all over Africa," JANA reported yesterday. Go
