American researchers and US troops in Iraq
Iraq-USA, Politics, 12/11/2004

American Researcher at University Of California, Bryan Gifford, said that number of American soldiers killed in Iraq confirm that the US forces are facing a serious danger greater than the image presented to the world opinion or admitted by American politicians.

In an article published in Saudi newspaper of al-Wattan on Friday, Gifford pointed out that the number of U.S. troops killed have tripled since the first attack on Falluja in April 2003.

He added that those great numbers raise many questions about the U.S. government's ability to maintain its presence for long time in the region.

"The deteriorated U.S. circumstances and the increasing Iraqi resistance make it difficult to imagine a face-saving strategy to get out of Iraq," He said.
