Arab Journalists Federation statement on Human Rights day

Arab Journalist Federation has condemned the latest American Law called observation of Jewish antagonism in the world, asserting that it aims at imposing the American protection on the Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people.

In a statement issued Wednesday on the occasion of Human Rights Day, the federation denounced foreign intervention in the internal affairs of the Arab states, calling on its members to deepen the culture of human rights and freedoms through participation in human rights symposiums and conferences.

Secretary General of the Federation, Salah al-Din Hafez, said that the world is passing through a disturbed stage due to the bloody conflicts and wars that violate the individual's right to live free life as the situation in Iraq and Palestine, pointing out that those aggressions caused imbalance in the international relations because of the great powers' involvement in such conflicts.

He also expressed the journalists' concern over the spread of violence in the world, particularly in the Arab and Islamic countries because of the so-called the American war against terrorism.
