Mubarak phones Bahraini king on Mideast situation

President Hosni Mubarak phoned yesterday Bahraini King Hamad Bin Isa Al-Khalifa for talks on the Middle East situation.
The two leaders discussed the situation in Iraq and the occupied Palestinian territories. They also handled preparations for the coming Arab summit in Algeria, as well as means to boost the stances of the Arab states on regional and international issues.
