Al-Assad receives Iraq's vice president

Syria's President Bashar al-Assad received Iraq's Interim Vice-President Ibrahim al-Jaafari and the accompanying delegation on Monday at al-Rawda Palace. Talks dealt with the relations between the two states on all levels and fields of coordination between them.
President al-Assad asserted Syria's support to Iraq's independence, territorial integrity and sovereignty.
