Al-Assad arrives in Sharm al-Sheikh today

Syria's President Bashar al-Assad on Tuesday noon arrived in the Egyptian resort of Sharm al-Sheikh in a visit to Egypt. President Hosni Mubarak of Egypt met President Assad at the airport as well as Egypt's Foreign Minister and senior Egyptian officials with Syria's ambassador in Cairo Youssef Ahmed.
Foreign Minister Farouq al-Shara is accompanying President al-Assad in his visit to Egypt. The two presidents held a bilateral meeting.
