Morocco, Brazil sign cooperation agreements

Visiting King Mohammed VI of Morocco and President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva of Brazil chaired, on Friday, the signing ceremony of three cooperation agreements.
The agreements include a multilateral trade accord with countries member of the common market of south American countries (Mercosur- Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay).
The two other accords concern the tourism sector and cooperation between the two countries diplomacies.
king Mohammed VI, who also held private talks with the Brazilian president, voiced earlier Morocco's hope to conclude a preferential trade agreement with Brazil, prior to a comprehensive free trade agreement (FTA) with MERCOSUR countries.
