Sharm al-Sheikh statements supports Iraq's unity

The meeting of Iraq's foreign ministers neighboring states will be meeting today in Sharm al-Sheikh with the participation of the host country Egypt in order to enhance monitoring on the Iraqi borders in order to prevent sneaking of fighters.
Then the conference will hold a plenary session including the UN Secretary General Kofi Annan and the foreign ministers of the G-8 states ( the US, Russia, Japan, Canada, Germany, France, Britain and Italy) as well as to China in its being a permanent member in the UN Security Council, Malaysia in its being the current president for the Organization of the Islamic Conference OIC, and Holland the current president of the EU.
The plenary conference will discuss the needs of the Iraqi people and the effort to complete the political process including holding the general elections set for on January 30, 2005 as a date.
