Hawas: Egyptian team examines Tutankhamon mummy

The Supreme Council of Antiquities (SCA) Secretary-General Zahi Hawas said the mummy of Tutankhamon will be examined with means of the most sophisticated instrument in the world for conducting the cat-scan.
He stressed that the mummy examination will only be carried out by an Egyptian team, confirming that no foreign scientist will take part in this process and stressed that the examination will be implemented by the Egyptian scientist Saleh Bidair, the manager of the Egyptian mummies examination department at the SCA.
