Syrian senior party official visits Turkey today

Responding to the invitation of the Turkish Justice and Development Party, Assistant Secretary General of the Al-Baath Arab Socialist Party (BASP), Abdullah al-Ahmar, begins a visit tomorrow to Turkey.
The Syrian delegation which includes a member of the Party Regional Leadership, Ibrahim Hneidi, is scheduled to hold talks with Turkish party and government leadership with the aim of boosting partisan relations in the service of the two parties interests.
It is noteworthy to say that a delegation representing the leadership of the Turkish Justice and Development Party paid a visit to Syria last June and signed a cooperation agreement with the Baath Arab socialist party.
