Over 6 tons of cannabis seized in Morocco

More than 6 tons of cannabis have been seized recently in Morocco by authorities part of their fight against drug trafficking, official sources anounced Monday. 4.64 tons of cannabis and 18 kg of Haschich with a street value estimated at 1 million DH (900.000 dollars), were seized in the province of Fez and a drug dealer was arrested.
Earlier, security forces seized in Casablanca nearly 2,5 tons of cannabis and arrested a drug trafficker. The drug was concealed in a vehicle and was destined to export.
