Jordan, Malaysia for a WMD free Middle East

Jordanian Foreign Minister Hani al-Malqi and his Malaysian counterpart Hamed al-Bar stressed the necessity of reaching a just and comprehensive peace in the Middle East that leads to establishment of an independent Palestinian state.
During their meeting in Amman overnight, both Ministers asserted the necessity of turning the Middle East into a zone free of weapons of mass destruction. They also discussed issues on Iraq and the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) which is currently headed by Malaysia.
