Vatican Pope greets Syria; National Symphony

Syrian National Symphony received a massage from His Holiness Pope John Paul II of the Vatican in which he greeted the Symphony and Syria and remembered his historical visit to Syria, Tishreen daily said Sunday.
The daily added that the Syrian concert in the Italian city of Genoa, capital of the European Culture for 2004, will be held under the title " Syria-Italy Together for Peace." The Syrian Symphony is due to hold seven concerts in six Italian cities between 8-18 November.
