Egyptian-German business council formed

An Egyptian-German Business Council was formed under Nader Riyad who doubles as Deputy Chairman of the German-Arab Chamber of Industry and Commerce.
The new council groups 11 businessmen representing the Egyptian business community and companies working in various fields.
Chairman of the Chamber Peter Goepfrisch was chosen as a member of the new council and also the German Ambassador in Cairo Martin Koebler. Riyad said the coming period will witness holding a series of meetings between Egyptian and German businessmen in a bid to prompt joint investments and transfer of technology.
He added a meeting will be held in Frankfurt on November 23, and the members will meet with some deputies of the German Bundestag for talks on boosting cooperation in tourism, investment and transfer of technology.
