Activities of the Syrian- Lebanese higher council highlighted

Lebanese President Emile Lahoud on Friday discussed with the Secretary General of the Syrian-Lebanese Higher Council, Nasri Khouri the activities of the joint committees. He pointed out to the presence of joint projects particularly those connected with electric energy, gas, and railways which Lebanon is scheduled to benefit from them.
He added that Karami had expressed readiness to remove all the obstacles that stand in the way of carrying out these projects.
