Israeli incursion displaces 200 Palestinians in Rafah, one tank kills three Palestinians in Gaza

One Israeli tank killed three Palestinians in Gaza, while one Palestinian prisoner in al-Ramla jail in Israel died because of his deteriorated health conditions after Israel had refused to release him.

An Israeli tank in the surrounding of al- Breij campo for the Palestinian refugees fired one shelling at a position for the Palestinian police and killed three persons, according to witnesses.

The occupation sources said that military units in this sector monitored three persons while transporting something " similar to an explosive" near the security fence which separates Gaza from the territories of 1948 and opened fire at them.

Meantime, the Palestinian prisoners club said that a Palestinian prisoner who spent 19 years in jail died yesterday in al-Ramla prison hospital in Israel as a result of his deteriorated health condition. The chairman of the club Issa Qaraqe said that Muhammad Wahdan ( 65 year old) from Jerusalem, died in al-Ramla hospital in Israel as a result of his deteriorated health condition because of the Israeli negligence. Qaraqe' said that "prisoner Wahdan spent 4 years in the prison's hospital and he was suffering heart problems and we had several appeals for the supreme Israeli court to release him because he did not take adequate medicament, but the court refused to release him nor to improve his medical treatment."

He added that Wahdan " is the third prisoner who dies in prison since the beginning of the Intifada as a result of health negligence." In total, the Israeli army destroyed 22 houses in Rafah camp during an incursion operation completed on late Wednesday eveing. Security sources said that "20 trade shops were destroyed in the same Israeli operation and scores of families were displaced because of the new Israeli crime." According to UNRWA the houses destroyed in "Block" area where 33 families were living include 194 persons while in two buildings in al-Brazil quarters three families of 19 members were living. It added that " all those have become homeless.

Meantime, forces from the Israeli army detained on Thursday evening 19 Palestinians in the West Bank.
